Hattie’s Luncheon March 7th, 2024

Join us on Thursday, March 7th from 11:30-1:00 at Highland Park United Methodist Church to celebrate the unique community of Wesley-Rankin Community Center. Presented by Vinson & Elkins LLP, Hattie’s Luncheon will spotlight the uniqueness of Wesley-Rankin’s community. We will also be honoring Bob Munroe as the recipient of our annual Hattie Rankin Moore Leadership Award. Bob has been advocating for Wesley-Rankin since 2015 through UPUMC’s mission committee and scholastic book fundraising. He started volunteering virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic and has been a consistent presence in the kindergarten-2nd grade classroom ever since. This year, Ron Kirk, former Texas Secretary of State, will be joining us as a guest speaker to offer his insights on the changes in the West Dallas neighborhood.
