The Leadership Council is comprised of graduates from a year of leadership classes. This group of adults focuses on Community Advocacy, Service, and Leadership.
In order to join the Leadership Council, participants must complete the Adult Academy Leadership Course. This 9-week training course focuses on civil and community advocacy, effective communication, and leadership education. The Council establishes guidelines for The Academy, reviewing and approving learning module options. The Leadership Council meets weekly from September-May to discuss issues facing the West Dallas community and evaluate ways that Wesley-Rankin and its participants can respond.
The Leadership Council is composed of adults who are passionate about the West Dallas community, local schools, and Wesley-Rankin.
