Volunteering with Afterschool
The Afterschool Program is available to Kindergarten-12th grade students with a priority given to students living or attending schools in the 75212 zip code. The program focuses on offering individualized academic support and promoting social-emotional growth for all ages.
Volunteers are needed for one-on-one homework help, to support our staff in implementing programming, and general classroom management support. To volunteer as an Afterschool Program volunteer, complete our application (link to app).
Specialty clubs are offered to all students in subjects like guitar, art, coding, STEM, running, chess, etc. Clubs are offered one day a week for the duration of the semester. We rely on volunteers and partnerships to lead specialty clubs. If interested in sharing a special skill or talent with WRCC students, complete the form below.
