Wesley-Rankin Community Center is reliant on private donors that make our work in West Dallas possible.
Here are some of the ways that you can support our mission of community transformation:
Cash gifts can be made online through our secure main portal. For checks, our mailing address is 3100 Crossman Avenue, Dallas, TX 75212.
Many employers offer matching gift programs! You can amplify your cash donation through a matching employer gift. Wesley-Rankin is on most employer gift websites, like Benevity and YourCause. We've also been blessed to receive matching gifts from employers like Johnson & Johnson and ExxonMobil. To register our organization, our unique employer identification number that identifies us as a registered nonprofit is 75-0808775. If you need further assistance, please send an email to info@wesleyrankin.org.
Wesley-Rankin benefits tremendously from monthly gifts! Steady support allows us to budget more effectively to bring more health and education resources to West Dallas. On the "Donate" page, select "recurring" and the frequency of your choice. If you wish to receive a consolidated receipt at the end of the fiscal year, please select that option on the form.
To include Wesley-Rankin Community Center in an estate plan means that you are making a unique and incredible statement of the value of our mission. If Wesley-Rankin is already in an estate plan, we would like to know in order to confer to your wishes on recognition and potential naming opportunities. Also, when in the future we launch a legacy society, we'd like to know if you would like to be included in our communications for potential future small gatherings. Please contact Shellie Ross, Executive Director, at shellie@wesleyrankin.org to discuss estate giving options.
Wesley-Rankin has WRCC branded birthday cards that we can send in honor of someone's birthday upon receipt of any amount of donation. Wesley-Rankin is the honored recipient of many memorial gifts after someone has passed. In most cases, funds received will go towards our multi-generational programs. If you would like to discuss other options, please email info@wesleyrankin.org.
Hattie’s Luncheon takes its name from Wesley-Rankin Community Center’s founder, Hattie Rankin Moore, and is one of our two fundraising events per year. On average, this event raises over $150,000 for Wesley-Rankin’s programs that impact the lives of children, youth, adults, and seniors in West Dallas. In addition to the fundraising objective, Hattie’s Luncheon includes an update on Wesley-Rankin’s service in West Dallas, a presentation of the Hattie Rankin Moore Leadership Award to an inspiring volunteer and a keynote speaker who will inform and inspire in the context of the annual theme for the year.
A Taste of West Dallas occurs annually in the fall and is a celebration of the culinary talent in our service neighborhood. Please email info@wesleyrankin.org if you would like to be included on our sponsorship mailing list.

Wesley-Rankin continues to have ongoing donation needs, ranging from pencils to canned goods. Gather a group of friends, neighbors, co-workers, or your Sunday School class for a donation drive of items on our latest Amazon Wishlist. Please let us know if you intend on doing a drive for us (volunteer@wesleyrankin.org). Amazon Wishlist gifts, unfortunately, lack donor information, and we would like to thank you when possible!
Within capacity, we take limited goods. We consistently need donations of hygiene items (soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent), food items (canned beans, corn, dry beans, rice, etc.), Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer. We are unable to accept office supplies and used clothing/toys/shoes.
Wesley-Rankin Community Center reserves the right to refuse a gift if determined to be outside of the best interest of the organization.
