GoH GoH Girls
GoH GoH Girls (Girls of Hope, Girls of Honor) is a 4th-12th grade program designed around the four cornerstones of leadership, service, responsibility, and sisterhood. The GoH GoH Girls program holistically aids in developing young girls by providing a safe place to discuss female-related issues while also providing field trips, mentorship, and volunteer opportunities.
Each semester, they work through two of the eight building blocks for social-emotional health as promoted by the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center. GoH GoH Girls aims to foster community among Wesley-Rankin’s girls, staff, and volunteer mentors to reinforce emotional and social development.
GoH GoH Girls meetings are divided into two groups, 4th-6th graders and 7th-12th graders. The younger GoH GoH Girls emphasize self-confidence, friendship, and study eight character traits through hands-on activities, crafts, and group discussions. The older GoH GoH Girls emphasize healthy relationships and life after high school.
