Afterschool provides children and youth enrichment activities and homework support, which reinforce core concepts to
bolster school academic performance. Students choose from a selection of interest clubs each semester, including violin, debate, coding, basketball, and photography. WRCC supports socio-economic wellness through individual and group counseling sessions four days a week.
WR Aspiring Professionals

Wesley-Rankin Aspiring Professionals (WRAP) addresses gaps in workplace readiness, networking, and low living wages by offering an experiential, skill-based education composed of courses, labs, tours, and internships at various professions throughout Dallas. High school students receive strengths inventories and coaching to ensure career paths align with interests. In addition, students acquire income to practice financial literacy in supporting families and maintain savings. 22 students began the new program in 2019. In fall 2020, 12 students advanced to the second tier of the program.

Muchachas de la esperanza,
Chicas de honor

GOh GOh Girls (Girls of Hope, Girls of Honor) is a 4th-12th grade program designed around the four cornerstones of personal responsibility, goal setting, self-esteem, and faith development. The girls study eight building blocks of social-emotional health as identified by the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, Berkley. The GOh GOh Girls program holistically aids in the development of young girls by providing a safe place to discuss female related issues while also equipping girls with experiences such as self-defense, budgeting, and the importance of the arts.
Niños de Honor, Niños de la Unidad, Niños de la Igualdad

Tri-B HUE (Boys of Honor, Boys of Unity, Boys of Equality) is a leadership group that meets weekly to support the program's five cornerstones: chivalry, developing personal responsibility, building self-esteem, establishing goal-setting behavior, and deepening spiritual faith in young men. Each semester, they work through two of the eight building blocks for social-emotional health as promoted by the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center. Through partnerships with area churches and the AT&T Performing Arts Center, Tri-B HUE gains additional exposure to weekend field trips, small group learning, and mentoring.
